Descripción

Discover the Judean Desert on a day trip from Jerusalem. Visit Bethlehem, Jericho, and the Dead Sea, and enjoy a camel ride through the desert landscape.
Begin your journey in Jerusalem and travel through the Judean Desert to explore the spiritual, historical, and natural wonders of the region.

Your first stop is Bethlehem, where you will visit the iconic Church of the Nativity, a prestigious UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore its stunning Byzantine mosaics and the evolution of its architectural structure over centuries.

Next, visit the serene Milk Grotto, a site of deep spiritual significance. To round off your Bethlehem experience, visit a local Olive Wood Workshop. Here, witness skilled artisans hand-carving intricate pieces from ancient olive trees—a craft preserved for generations.

Descend to Jericho, the oldest city on Earth. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Mount of Temptation, where the monastery clings dramatically to the cliffside. After exploring the magnificent Umayyad architecture at Hisham’s Palace and its famous "Tree of Life" mosaic, add a touch of adventure with a traditional camel ride with the desert landscape as your backdrop.

To conclude your day, head to the Dead Sea for a relaxing float in its buoyant, mineral-rich waters.
