Step 1: The Treasure Hunt through Hidden Venice
Start your journey by downloading our dedicated Carnival App (or collect your paper map). Your mission? Explore the labyrinthine streets of the Serenissima, far from the crowds.
Discover: Follow the itinerary to find picturesque corners and learn curious anecdotes about the history of the world’s most famous Carnival.
The Challenge: Keep your eyes open! To unlock your prize, you must find and photograph 4 hidden locations along the way. These secret details hold the key to the next part of your adventure.
Step 2: The Artisan Workshop in Casanova’s Prison
Your quest ends in a truly extraordinary location: an ancient Mask Atelier located inside the historic palace where the legendary Casanova was once imprisoned. This palace, connected to the Doge's Palace by the famous Bridge of Sighs, is where your "treasure" awaits.
The Prize: Show at least 3 of your photos to the master artisan to receive your authentic Venetian mask.
The Experience: Under the guidance of a local artist, unleash your creativity! You will decorate your own mask using traditional techniques and materials.
Step 3: Share the Magic
Once your masterpiece is finished, wear your personalized mask and capture the ultimate Carnival Selfie in the very halls where Casanova walked. Share your creation on social media and become a part of the Venetian legend!

From St. Mark’s Square, face the Basilica and turn right towards the Doge’s Palace. Continue past the Bridge of Sighs to Riva degli Schiavoni (the waterfront promenade). Walk for 2 minutes, then turn left into Calle de le Rasse. The Venice Tours Office is at number 4536; look for the sign at the entrance. Please show up at the meeting point to collect map and instructions.
