Step into the refined world of Kyoto tradition with our immersive tea ceremony experience, thoughtfully designed to engage all your senses. For guests who wish to deepen the experience, optional kimono rental is available, with a beautifully curated selection of over 200 styles ranging from elegant classics to seasonal designs. Our professional staff will assist with dressing, and optional hairstyling for women is also available to complete the traditional look.

The experience continues in a serene, traditional tea room where time seems to slow down. Guided by an experienced tea master, you will learn the philosophy, etiquette, and spirit behind the Japanese Way of Tea. Watch as matcha is carefully prepared using traditional tools, then try whisking your own bowl using a bamboo whisk (chasen).

Your matcha is made using premium green tea sourced from a local tea producer in Kyoto, allowing you to experience the authentic flavor that has been enjoyed in the region for generations. The tea is paired with delicate Japanese sweets from a long-established Kyoto confectioner, enhancing both taste and tradition.

More than a demonstration, this is a hands-on cultural journey that invites you to participate, understand, and appreciate one of Japan’s most cherished traditions. For customers who booked the kimono rental with hairstyling and/or makeup: Please arrive at the shop ''1.5 hours'' before your session starts. If you arrive too late, you will dress in a kimono AFTER the tea ceremony.
If you arrive late, you may still join the session, but we will not be able to extend the session time.
Those who prefer to not sit on the floor can sit comfortably on a small chairs
This experience requires a quiet atmosphere and is suitable for guests aged 10 and above. Disruptive behavior may result in being asked to leave the session.
After the tea ceremony, you can stroll around Kyoto in kimono if option selected. Please return the kimono by 5:30 PM on the same day.

Cancelaciones

Esta excursión se puede cancelar sin costo alguno hasta :tiempo de cancelación horas antes del inicio del viaje. Si lo cancela después de 24 horas o no se presenta en la excursión, se le cobrará el precio total de la actividad. El retraso en la recogida o en la salida se considerará como no presentarse.
