Descripción

Discover Sapporo, Hokkaido through architecture, nature, and Northern Japanese aesthetics. Explore sacred shrines, artistic landscapes, historic red-brick buildings, and peaceful mountain valleys.
Hokkaido Shrine
A refined example of traditional Japanese spatial aesthetics, where simplicity, symmetry, and silence shape the architectural experience. The forest approach creates a peaceful transition between nature and sacred space.

Shiroi Koibito Park
A European-inspired fantasy space featuring colorful towers, vintage architecture, and elegant garden design. The park blends romantic European aesthetics with Japanese attention to atmosphere and detail.

Hill of the Buddha
Designed by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando, this architectural landmark uses minimalist concrete, light, and shadow to create a deeply spiritual atmosphere. The hidden Buddha emerging from the lavender hill creates a powerful sense of stillness and mystery.

Sapporo Beer Museum
A beautifully preserved red-brick building representing Meiji-era industrial architecture and European influence in early Hokkaido. Its warm textures and historic design create a timeless atmosphere.

Jozankei Town
*I would recommend four charming hidden spots worth visiting. As the locations are spread throughout Jozankei, guests are free to explore and choose the spots that interest them most.
①Futami Park
A peaceful riverside landscape where the iconic red suspension bridge frames the valley like a living painting. The space reflects the harmony of traditional Japanese landscape aesthetics.Near Futami Park, there is also a free footbath where visitors can relax while enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery from the hillside.
②Jozankei Ohashi Bridge
A panoramic viewpoint overlooking the architectural harmony between Jozankei’s mountain town, river valley, and surrounding forests. The elevated perspective beautifully captures Northern Hokkaido’s seasonal beauty.
③Jozankei Gensen Park
A tranquil hot spring park where steam, stone, and flowing water create a calming natural composition. Traditional Japanese design elements blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape.
④Jozankei Shrine
A small and peaceful shrine hidden within the quiet atmosphere of Jozankei. Surrounded by forest and seasonal nature, the shrine reflects the simplicity and spiritual beauty of traditional Japanese sacred spaces.

Sapporo Central Wholesale Market
A lively seafood market reflecting the authentic rhythm of Hokkaido’s culinary culture. Traditional storefronts and local food spaces create an energetic yet distinctly Northern Japanese atmosphere.
