Begin your journey with a trek across the Aberdares moorlands, a landscape of rolling hills, alpine meadows, and rare high-altitude plants. The trail leads you to the awe-inspiring Dragon’s Teeth, sharp volcanic spires that rise dramatically from the earth, creating one of the most unique sights in Kenya.

From there, continue your hike toward Mount Satima’s peak, where, on a clear day, you may spot Mount Kenya to the east and sweeping valleys below. Along the way, your professional guide will share insights into the area’s geology, ecosystem, and history, turning your hike into a meaningful learning experience.

As evening falls, set up camp in the highlands for a true wilderness night under the stars. While this is a self-catered trip and you’ll need to carry your own food supplies, a gas cooker and utensils are provided so you can prepare your meals at camp without the hassle of carrying heavy cookware. Clean drinking water is also supplied, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience.

Camping in the Aberdares is magical—picture the crisp mountain air, the peaceful silence broken only by the sounds of nature, and the warmth of a fire under a starry sky. It’s the perfect chance to unplug and reconnect with the outdoors.
