Guided farm tour and learning about rearing, followed by a lunchtime barbecue and an optional swimming activity
Pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi. The drive takes approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic. You will arrive at the Masai Ostrich Farm, located in Kitengela.
Before entering the main ostrich area, you will be required to disinfect your shoes at a pool of water.
Begin a guided tour of the farm. You can see ostriches at various stages of growth, learn about their rearing process.
Enjoy lunch, which can include a special barbecue, either at the outdoor barbecue area or by the pool.
Optional swimming in the resort's pool.
3:30 PM: Depart from the farm to drive back at your Nairobi hotel.
