Mombasa: Tsavo East and West 3-Day Private Safari Tour

Day 1: Coast to Tsavo East

Get picked up from your hotel in Diani, Mombasa, or Kilifi in the early morning. Drive to Tsavo East National Park via the Mombasa-Nairobi highway, making a short stop near Voi. Enter the park through the Bachuma Gate.

Embark on a game drive, focusing on areas like Aruba Dam, where you can spot elephants, buffalo, and zebras. Keep an eye out for lions resting under trees in the open plains. After the game drive, enjoy lunch and check in to your accommodation.

In the afternoon, head out on another game drive. Take advantage of the great light for photography and see elephant herds, giraffes, and predators. Return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Tsavo East to Tsavo West

Begin your day with an early morning game drive in Tsavo East, offering the best chance to see lions and hyenas. Witness the sunrise over the savannah before returning for breakfast and checking out.

Cross to Tsavo West, driving via Voi and Mtito Andei. Enter Tsavo West National Park and check in to your accommodation. Visit Mzima Springs, known for its crystal-clear water. Use the viewing chamber to see hippos and crocodiles up close. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Tsavo West.

Day 3: Tsavo West to Coast

Start your day with a morning game drive in Tsavo West. Look for leopards, elephants, antelopes, and other wildlife. After the game drive, return to your accommodation for breakfast. Check out and drive back to the coast, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.
