As we approach the KICC, observe this distinctive, iconic skyscraper that once held the title of Nairobi's tallest building. Its unique architecture is a landmark in the city. The KICC is a hub for major national and international conferences and events. The rooftop observation deck offers a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of the sprawling city, a great spot to orient ourselves and see how Nairobi has grown.
Nairobi Memorial Park
Next, we come to the Nairobi Memorial Park, also known as the August 7th Memorial Park. This is a place for quiet reflection, established in memory of the victims of the 1998 US Embassy bombing in Nairobi". The park, which sits on the site of the former embassy, honors those who lost their lives and emphasizes the importance of peace and coexistence.
