Nairobi: Ngong Hills, Giraffe Center, and Blixen Tour

Begin your day with a refreshing hike across the rolling ridges of the Ngong Hills. Choose between a shorter trek to the first peak or a full 11.5-kilometer challenge across all seven hills. Enjoy a 360-degree panorama with the Great Rift Valley to the west and the Nairobi skyline to the east. Walk past modern wind turbines and through indigenous forests where you might spot buffaloes, baboons, and diverse bird species.

Next, head to the leafy suburb of Karen to visit the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife (AFEW). Stand on a raised wooden platform to come eye-to-eye with the rare Rothschild's giraffes. Use provided pellets to hand-feed these gentle giants and even experience a famous "giraffe kiss."
