The experience starts in Sierpe, where guests are picked up by boat and travel through the mangroves to reach the lodge.

Boat departures from Sierpe are usually between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Guests arriving with their own 4x4 vehicle should also plan to arrive in Sierpe between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, as the ferry across the Sierpe River operates only during daytime hours.

To ensure a smooth arrival, guests are asked to contact Sabalo Lodge via WhatsApp no later than one day before arrival to arrange the exact meeting or departure time.

Guests traveling by car continue from Sierpe across the ferry and follow the marked jungle road to Sabalo Lodge. A high-clearance 4x4 vehicle is recommended for this route.
