Embark on a guided night walk through the jungle near Puerto Jimenez. Spot nocturnal creatures such as red-eyed tree frogs, lizards, snakes, spiders, owls, and bats and more.
Experience the wonders of the jungle at night, when many creatures come to life. During this walk, you’ll have the chance to spot fascinating wildlife such as red-eyed tree frogs, bullfrogs, glass frogs, lizards, snakes, spiders, owls, bats, and more.
Start your tour at 6:00 PM and last between 2 to 2.5 hours, covering about 1.5 kilometers of easy walking. Although there may be some mud and small stream crossings, the route is manageable for most people. Take a slow pace, using flashlights to search for as many nocturnal creatures as possible.
For guests staying near town, enjoy pickup at around 5:30 PM, with a 15-minute drive to the starting point. The entire adventure takes approximately 3 hours. The property is a beautiful patch of forests just at the edges of Puerto Jimenez downtown.
