With approximately a hundred individual leopards, YALA is recognized as the National Park with the highest leopard density in the world. Start your journey the entrance of the Hambantota International Sea Port.
What happens on a typical day on safari?
A. Pick-up time at 6.00 a.m. - In front of the Hambantota International Sea Port entrance or All the available Pick-up times - (Morning Safari - 6.00 a.m./ 7.00 a.m./ 7.30 a.m./ 8.00 a.m. / 8.30 a.m. / 9.00 a.m. Afternoon Safari - 1.00 p.m./ 1.30 p.m.) - The vehicle will either be an Air-conditioned Car, Van, Bus or a Toyota Hilux safari vehicle.
Please adjust the times of the itinerary according to the Pickup time you select
B. Reach the main entrance of the YALA National Park in Palatupana. Be in the vehicle queue and buy the entrance tickets at the counter
C. 2 hours wildlife safari/ 1st game drive
D. Break at Patanangala Beach in YALA National Park - 20-30 minutes, which gives you time to enjoy your picnic breakfast
(You can additionally buy breakfast from us for the morning safari- USD 8 Per Person)
E. 1 hour wildlife safari/ 2nd game drive
F. Drop off at the same location you have picked up
Your safety and comfort are our top priority, so we use only the rugged Toyota Hilux 4x4 vehicles for the safari, specially equipped to navigate the YALA National Park's diverse off-road conditions easily.
NOTE -
Ajith Safari Jeep Tours has been a safari operator for more than 30 years and also an authorized company to offer safari services in YALA National Park, all of our 4X4 vehicles have the necessary approvals and all of our drivers have the special licenses to provide their service as safari drivers in the YALA National Park, which are issued by the Department of Wildlife Conservation in Sri Lanka.

Please be informed that the entrance fee for the YALA National Park is not included in this safari package.
You must pay the fee at the entrance by cash in Sri Lankan Rupees or through a credit card. (There is no facility at present at the YALA National Park entrance to make cash payments in foreign currencies)
Only 50% of the price of an adult will be charged for children above 5 and below 12 years old. The children aged 5 or below will be given the chance to ride the safari free of charge. (Letting the future guardians of the planet Earth take their first steps in experiencing to be aligned with nature)
Children below 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Esta excursión se puede cancelar sin costo alguno hasta :tiempo de cancelación horas antes del inicio del viaje. Si lo cancela después de 24 horas o no se presenta en la excursión, se le cobrará el precio total de la actividad. El retraso en la recogida o en la salida se considerará como no presentarse.
