This walk suits people who want the Mullerthal's rock scenery without the long trail that connects it. Your guide, licensed in Luxembourg, brings you straight to the parts worth the effort and tells you how the stone was cut, quarried and shaped into what you see.
You begin on the Berdorf plateau and loop past narrow clefts, standing rock, cliff-edge viewpoints and a cave you enter by a short iron ladder. Partway round, you stop on a rock terrace at the plateau's edge. Out comes the cooler bag: champagne, grapes, cheese, charcuterie. You sit with the forest below you for as long as you like.
Then a short drive east to Echternach and the Wolf's Gorge, saved for last on purpose. Your group is small and private throughout, so the pace stays yours.
