Begin your day with a morning pickup from your accommodation in Durrës or Golem. Sit back and enjoy the scenic drive along the Albanian lakeside, passing rolling hills and peaceful villages.
Make your first stop in Tushemisht, a charming village on the Albanian shore of Lake Ohrid. Enjoy a 30-minute coffee break by the lake and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. Tushemisht is more than a scenic stop: it’s a gateway to cross-border experiences.
After this pause, cross the border into North Macedonia and continue to Ohrid. Take a guided walking tour of the Old Town, wander through cobbled streets, visit centuries-old churches, and browse local artisan shops. Stop at Saint John at Kaneo, perched above Lake Ohrid.
Continue to the Bay of Bones, an archaeological site on the lake, before visiting the Saint Naum Monastery, over a thousand years old. Walk through the monastery grounds, enjoy the gardens and springs, and watch the peacocks roam freely.
