Your journey begins with a comfortable pickup from your accommodation in Tirana, Durres, or Golem. As you travel north, your guide will introduce you to Albania’s landscapes, culture, and history while you pass through rural villages and mountain scenery.
Along the way, you will stop at the panoramic viewpoint of Vau i Dejës Lake. Surrounded by mountains, this peaceful reservoir offers a beautiful introduction to the natural beauty of northern Albania.
The adventure continues toward Komani Lake, a destination often compared to Scandinavian fjords because of its dramatic cliffs and narrow mountain gorges.
Here you will board a boat and begin one of the most scenic journeys in the Balkans. As the boat glides through the lake, towering rock formations and untouched wilderness create an unforgettable landscape.
After approximately one hour, you will arrive at the stunning Shala River, a hidden mountain paradise known for its turquoise water and peaceful surroundings.
