Breakfast: Start your day with Burek (savory pastry) and yogurt, in the city center green market. Walk in the new part of Skopje. Stroll into the massive main square to view the monumental Warrior on a Horse statue and the rest 200+ monuments, visit St.Clement biggest orthodox church, explore the city square, then cross the historic Stone Bridge into the 2nd largest Ottoman bazaar in the Balkans. Wander the cobblestone streets filled with silver filigree shops and tea houses, and finish with traditional lunch.

Visit: St.Clement main church, Mustafa Pasha Mosque, the Church of the Ascension of Jesus, and historic Turkish hans if open.
Lunch: Head back into the bazaar to enjoy a traditional Macedonian lunch.
