Begin your journey with a visit to the floating mosque in Tanjung Bunga, where you can marvel at the magnificent view of the sea from inside the mosque. Next, head to Kraf Batik, the only batik factory on the island, to see how batik, an exquisite Malaysian work of art, is made.

Continue to the Tropical Fruit Farm in Teluk Bahang, where you can observe various types of tropical fruits growing on the trees and sample some tropical fruits on a fruit platter. Next, visit the Ghee Hup Nutmeg plantation and factory in Balik Pulau, where you will be able to see nutmegs, a fruit that gives us 2 spices, nutmeg and mace, growing on the trees and learn to differentiate the male and female fruit.

Then, head to Dataran Pulau Betong, a picturesque spot where the river meets the sea, to see the stairway to heaven and perhaps pose for a photo there. Next, see the container art in the middle of green paddy fields, before visiting the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic church, which was built in the year 1854. Along the way, view the famous wall mural by the Russian lady artist, Julia Volchova.

Next, cross the island, cutting across the hills to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Georgetown. Here, see the magnificent clan house, Khoo Kongsi, in all its splendor. Take selfies in front of the iconic "Little Children on a Bicycle" mixed medium wall mural by the Lithuanian artist, Ernest Zacharevic, in Armenian Street before heading to Chew Jetty, the most accessible and famous of the clan jetties.

End your tour with a drive past the City Hall and Town Hall buildings as well as Fort Cornwallis and the Queen Victoria Memorial Clock Tower.
