At the 16th-century Ben Youssef Medersa, you’ll step into Morocco’s largest historic Quranic school. As we guide you through its halls, marvel at dazzling zellij tilework, carved cedarwood, and intricate stucco that once inspired 800 students.
Next, we’ll dive into Souk Semmarine, where traditional garments and handcrafted leather goods fill the stalls. You’ll meet artisans at work, then continue to Souk El Attarine, alive with the scents of spices, perfumes, and natural beauty products.
Together, we’ll wander the UNESCO-listed medina, a labyrinth of vibrant alleys brimming with colors, aromas, and glimpses of daily life. Step inside hidden workshops, where master craftsmen shape pottery, metalwork, and carved wood—living traditions that define Marrakech’s spirit.
When you’re ready to pause, we’ll retreat into Le Jardin Secret, a peaceful oasis tucked behind the medina’s walls. Amid its lush greenery and elegant Islamic design, you’ll also discover the “Khettara”—an ingenious underground irrigation system that sustained the city for centuries.
If time allows, we’ll continue to Dar El Bacha Museum, once the palace of Pasha Thami El Glaoui. Here, you’ll explore a refined blend of Moroccan art and architecture within some of Marrakech’s most elegant interiors.

• Koutoubia Mosque: Viewed from the outside only. Entry is restricted to Muslims during prayer times.
• Entry tickets to the monuments are not included in the price of the tour: Le Jardin Secret: 100 MAD and Medrassa Ben Youssef: 50 MAD per adult. Children aged 7–13 pay 30 MAD per monument, while children under 7 enter free of charge.
• Crowds & Waiting lines: During peak season, monuments can be crowded. Your guide can help skip the initial ticket lines. Inside queues may still apply, especially at the Saadian Tombs.
• Bahia Palace: Open to visitors. Some sections may be under renovation.
• Your tour guide who will accompany you throughout the tour will go inside each monument with you to give you a guided tour with free time to explore on your own and to take photos.
You will meet your guide in front of Cafe de France in the Djemaa El Fna square. The activity provider will contact you a day or two before the tour to confirm arrangements and coordinate with your guide for a seamless start to your experience.
