Continue to the sand dunes of Elsen Tasarkhai. Take in the breathtaking views of the desert landscape before heading to the ancient capital of the Mongolian Empire, Kharkhorin. Visit the Erdene Zuu Monastery, the oldest surviving Buddhist temple in Mongolia. Learn about its history and significance as you explore the complex.
