Experience your first Himalayan summit in a safe and controlled way. Trek through Langtang Valley and learn basic climbing techniques before attempting Yala Peak (5,520 m) with expert guidance.
Start your Himalayan journey with a professionally supported climbing program designed for trekkers attempting their first summit. Preparation begins before arrival in Nepal. Once the booking is confirmed, participants receive detailed pre-trip guidance, including physical conditioning suggestions, altitude adaptation tips, and recommendations for technical gear. An online consultation with our expedition coordinator is available to review readiness and answer technical questions.
Upon arrival in Nepal, the journey transitions through acclimatization, trekking progression, and practical high-altitude training before the final summit attempt. The itinerary follows this structured route:
Itinerary Overview
Day 1 – Kathmandu (1,400 m)
• Airport pick-up and hotel transfer
• Safety briefing, itinerary discussion, and equipment recheck
Day 2 – Drive to Syabrubesi (1,462 m)
• Approx. 6–7 hours by road (122 km)
• Trek preparation and rest
Day 3 – Trek to Lama Hotel (2,500 m)
• 11 km / 6–7 hours walking via forest trail
• Overnight in teahouse
Day 4 – Trek to Langtang Valley (3,430 m)
• 12 km / 5–6 hours
• Crossing alpine terrain and traditional hamlets
Day 5 – Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870 m)
• 6 km / 3–4 hours
• Afternoon light acclimatization walk
Day 6 – Acclimatization hike to Tserko Ri (4,984 m)
• 5–6 hours round trip
• High-altitude training and exposure walk
Day 7 – Trek to Yala Peak Base Camp (approx. 4,600 m)
• 7 km / 6–7 hours
• Technical safety training at campsite:
– crampon use
– harness adjustments
– rope movement technique
– snow terrain practice
Day 8 – Summit attempt: Yala Peak (5,500–5,520 m) & descent
• Start between 02:00–04:00 AM
• Mixed rocky and snowy route with 35–40° final slope
• Guided rope climbing and controlled ascent
• Return to Kyanjin Gompa
Day 9 – Trek to Lama Hotel (2,500 m)
• Approx. 18 km / 6–7 hours
Day 10 – Trek to Syabrubesi (1,462 m)
• Approx. 11 km / 5–6 hours
Day 11 – Drive back to Kathmandu (1,400 m)
• Approx. 6–7 hours by road
Day 12 – Departure

Throughout the expedition, participants receive continuous guidance, daily altitude monitoring, and personalized coaching for pacing, hydration, and breathing at high altitude. This activity operates in a small-group or private format and includes climbing permits, porter support, technical training, and certified expedition leadership by licensed Sherpa professionals.
The program is designed for physically fit trekkers who are motivated to progress from high-altitude trekking to introductory Himalayan mountaineering under supervised safety protocols. Support is provided from the moment of booking until the activity is completed.

INFORMACIÓN IMPORTANTE
This activity involves trekking and a summit climb at high altitude. Good physical fitness and previous multi-day hiking experience are required.
Recommended to train with endurance preparation at least 4–6 weeks before departure.
Participants must provide travel insurance covering high-altitude trekking and possible helicopter rescue.
Final equipment confirmation will be sent after booking. Essential gear is provided, but personal clothing layers are required.
A pre-trip health questionnaire and consultation may be conducted before arrival.
Minimum age 18 years unless joining with a legal guardian.
Not suitable for participants with serious heart, lung, or mobility-related medical conditions.
