Start your adventure with a convenient hotel pickup or meet your guide in the city center before travelling north along the scenic State Highway 1. Enjoy sweeping ocean views and dramatic coastal landscapes, with a stop en route to enjoy morning tea. Upon reaching Kaikōura, we'll sit down for a delicious lunch.

After lunch, choose how you’d like to spend your time. Wander through the seaside township, stroll along the coastal walkways, or visit one of the area’s famous seal colonies. You can also upgrade your experience with a range of iconic Kaikōura wildlife encounters and adventure activities. Options include whale watching, dolphin or albatross tours, a Wings Over Whales scenic flight, or an eco-friendly zipline experience. **Please note: Optional activities are operated by independent third-party providers and availability is not guaranteed, especially for last-minute bookings.

We will check availability after we receive your booking. If your chosen activity is unavailable on your travel date, our standard tour cancellation policy applies. Cancellations within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable.

Activities are weather-dependent and may be cancelled at short notice. If an activity cannot go ahead due to weather or sea conditions, you will receive a full refund for that activity only.

At the end of your visit to Kaikoura, relax and enjoy the journey back to Christchurch, where you’ll be dropped off at your accommodation or in the city center.
