Start your adventure with a comfortable four-hour drive from Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy several amusing stopovers along the way, including a visit to the Uganda Equator, where you can take pictures and witness a water experiment that shows how water flows in different directions in the opposite hemispheres.
Upon arrival at the park, have lunch and head for a boat cruise on Lake Mburo. Spot huge hippos, crocodiles, numerous bird species, and other animals like warthogs, zebras, and giraffes that come to drink water in the afternoon. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Wake up to a delicious breakfast and set out for a game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. Spend about 3-4 hours exploring the park, home to over 50 mammal species. Be guaranteed to see elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, waterbucks, zebras, giraffes, Uganda Kobs, duikers, and many others.
