Adventure into the wild on a 3-Day Gorilla Trekking Safari in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park — meet majestic mountain gorillas and discover the beauty of Uganda.
Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe/Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Your driver-guide will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel or the airport for a scenic journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. Along the way, you will have a stop at the Equator for photography and refreshments before continuing through beautiful countryside landscapes, rolling hills, and local villages. Arrival at the lodge will be in the evening for check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.

Accommodation: Rushaga gorilla lodg, Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge Bweza lodge, Gorilla bluff, Buhoma Haven and Rushaga haven or similar
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience and Batwa cultural experience
After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by the ranger guides before starting the unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure in the forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The trek can take between 2–6 hours depending on the movement of the gorilla family. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend one magical hour observing them in their natural habitat while learning about their behavior and conservation. After the trek, return to the lodge for relaxation. Optional cultural visit to the Batwa community can be arranged in the evening.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 3: Return to Entebbe/Kampala
After breakfast, check out from the lodge and begin the return journey to Entebbe or Kampala with en-route lunch and short stopovers for photos and souvenirs. Arrival will be in the evening, marking the end of your memorable gorilla trekking safari.

Gorilla trekking involves walking through steep and uneven forest terrain, so a moderate level of fitness is recommended.
Travelers are advised to carry hiking boots, rain jackets, long trousers, insect repellent, and gloves for trekking comfort.
Weather in the rainforest can change quickly, so waterproof clothing is recommended.
For the safety of the gorillas, visitors who are feeling unwell may not be allowed to participate in trekking activities.
