We begin this Sacred Valley VIP tour to Machu Picchu with hotel pickup in Cusco between 6:30 and 7:00 a.m., heading into the breathtaking Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop is Chinchero, where you will discover traditional Andean textile techniques and learn how camelid wool is naturally dyed at a local cultural center while admiring centuries-old traditions.

Next, we visit the fascinating circular terraces of Moray, an ingenious Inca agricultural laboratory where each level created a unique microclimate that allowed the cultivation of diverse crops. Afterwards, we continue to the famous Maras Salt Mines, where thousands of salt pans are still harvested using ancient techniques. Walk along narrow paths, admire the impressive geometric landscapes, and learn about the cultural importance of this remarkable site.

After a buffet lunch in Urubamba, we explore the impressive Ollantaytambo fortress, one of the most important Inca archaeological sites in the Sacred Valley, known for its temples, terraces, and remarkable stonework. In the afternoon, we board the train to Aguas Calientes, traveling through scenic valleys and rivers before settling in for an overnight stay before the highlight of the journey: Machu Picchu.

The following day begins with breakfast in Aguas Calientes, followed by a scenic 20-minute bus ride to Machu Picchu, offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. A professional guide will lead a guided tour of Machu Picchu, exploring iconic temples such as the Temple of the Sun, Temple of the Moon, and Temple of the Condor, while sharing insights into Inca engineering, culture, and spiritual traditions.

After the guided tour, enjoy free time to explore the terraces, take photos of the legendary Lost City of the Incas, or hike to viewpoints such as the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) or the Inca Bridge. Later, descend by bus to Aguas Calientes where you may relax in the town’s optional hot springs.

Finally, we return by train to Ollantaytambo and continue by private transport back to Cusco, concluding this unforgettable Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu adventure through spectacular Andean landscapes and Inca history.
