Discover Puno in 3 days: visit the Chullpas of Sillustani, cruise on Lake Titicaca, explore the Uros Islands and Taquile, and enjoy the landscapes, Andean culture, and local traditions.
Day 01: PUNO SIGHTSEEING TOUR: CHULLPAS OF SILLUSTANI
Pick-up from the airport or bus station and transfer to the hotel.
2:00 p.m. Pick-up from the hotel and departure for the excursion to the Chullpas of Sillustani, a site of reverence and mystery located just 40 minutes from the city of Puno. This sacred site, which served as a cemetery for pre-Inca and Inca cultures, offers a unique window into the past through its impressive group of chullpas, or funerary towers, which rise majestically up to 12 meters into the blue sky. We'll also marvel at the beautiful Lake Umayo.
5:45 p.m. Return to the city of Puno.
Overnight stay
Day 02: FULL-DAY TOUR OF THE UROS AND TAQUILE ISLANDS
Breakfast
7:15 a.m. Pick-up from hotels located in the city center of Puno.
7:30 a.m. Departure by boat from the Port of Puno.
8:00 a.m. Visit to 2 Floating Islands of Uros (approx. 1 hr 15 min), where we'll enjoy watching the islanders demonstrate their age-old customs, such as fishing and hunting.
9:15 a.m. Departure by boat to Taquile Island.
10:30 a.m. Arrival at the port of Taquile and a 25-minute walk to the local restaurant. The locals continue to live according to their ancient traditions and Inca laws, with traditional customs, religious rituals, and folklore. Here, we will enjoy breathtaking views and a delicious lunch in a local home.
11:00 a.m. Tour guide's talk at the local restaurant.
12:30 p.m. Traditional Lunch
1:30 p.m. Walk around the island and/or Plaza de Armas (optional)
2:30 p.m. Return to the city of Puno
4:00 p.m. Arrival and transfers to hotels located in Puno city center.
Overnight stay in Puno
Day 03: PUNO
Breakfast
Transfer to the bus terminal or airport at the appropriate time.
