This half-day tour takes you from Puno to Chucuito, one of the oldest towns in the highlands and recognized as the historical capital of the Aymara ethnic group. Located on the shores of Lake Titicaca, Chucuito combines pre-Inca vestiges, colonial architecture, and a deep cultural tradition that's still alive.

During the visit, you'll stroll through its stone streets and its main square, where you can see a sundial and buildings of colonial origin. You'll get to see the Temple of the Assumption and the Church of Santo Domingo, prime examples of Andean mestizo baroque, built on ancient indigenous foundations. One of the central points of the tour is Inca Uyo, known as the Temple of Fertility, a ceremonial space that lets you understand the Andean worldview related to life, fertility, and the connection with nature.

With a professional guide, you'll learn about the region's pre-Inca, Inca, and colonial history, as well as the cultural significance of the name Chucuito in the Aymara language, which is associated with a sacred place. The tour ends with free time for photos before heading back to Puno.
