Stay overnight on a floating island with a local family in Puno. Kayak to the Uros Islands, learn about their culture.
Begin your journey with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Puno and transfer to the local port. From there, kayak to the Uros Floating Island, where you will be warmly welcomed by local families.

Get an orientation of the island and learn about the activities you will participate in. Enjoy a delicious lunch and take some time to relax. In the afternoon, watch a demonstration about the use of totora and help place fishing nets. Then, join a handicraft workshop with the families, using the totora plant to create your own souvenir.

In the evening, enjoy dinner and spend the night on the Uros Floating Island. The next morning, pick up the fishing nets and observe the native fish. After breakfast with your host family, return to Puno and get dropped off at your hotel.
