Explore Lima through its most authentic flavors. You'll cook traditional dishes, visit local markets, and discover the cultural history behind each recipe in 4 days.
Day 1
Start: Morning or afternoon (depending on flight arrival)
Start according to your flight's arrival. We'll meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation. In the afternoon, around 5:30 p.m., you'll enjoy a unique culinary experience dedicated to the traditional breads of the Peruvian Andes.
During the workshop, you'll learn how to make coca leaf bread, the symbolic tantawawa, and the iconic Cusco chuta bread, discovering their origins, cultural significance, and artisanal techniques. At the end, you'll get the recipes to recreate these preparations at home and take a little piece of the Andean tradition with you.
Day 2
Duration: 5 hours | Start: 1:00 pm
You'll kick off the day with a culinary experience in Lima's historic center, where you'll join a cooking class with a local chef. You'll learn how to prepare the classic fish ceviche and the traditional pisco sour, discovering the history and secrets of these icons of Peruvian cuisine. In the evening, you'll visit the Magic Water Circuit to enjoy a show of dancing fountains, lights, and music before heading back to your accommodation.
Day 3
Duration: 6 hours | Start: 10:00 a.m.
You'll start the day with a visit to the artisanal dock of Chorrillos, where you'll learn about Lima's fishing tradition. You'll continue to the Surquillo Market, one of the city's most iconic markets, ideal for discovering local products and authentic flavors. The tour includes tastings of Creole and seafood dishes at local restaurants, followed by a visit to Lima's Historic Center, with admission to the Convent of San Francisco and a tasting of traditional sweets such as churros and picarones.
Day 4:
Start: According to flight schedule
On the last day of your trip, our team will transfer you from your hotel or Airbnb to Jorge Chávez International Airport, according to your flight's departure time. The pick-up will be coordinated in advance to ensure a timely, comfortable, and smooth transfer.
