Experience the magic of a true Highland winter during the most beautiful Traditional Sleigh Ride in Ząb – Gubałówka Hill, the highest-located village in the Polish Tatras! This unforgettable evening combines breathtaking mountain views, highlander music, a lively feast in a heated wooden hut, and unlimited local food and drinks. Get ready for a journey filled with laughter, tradition, and warmth in the heart of the snow-covered Tatra Mountains.

Your adventure begins with pickup by bus from your designated meeting point in Zakopane, Kościelisko, or nearby areas. You’ll be driven through the scenic mountain roads to the charming village of Ząb, perched high above Zakopane. The ride itself is a treat – gaze out the window at the white peaks of the Tatras and the sparkling lights of Zakopane below.

Upon arrival in Ząb, you’ll be greeted by friendly local guides and majestic horses ready to take you on a one-hour sleigh ride through the snowy mountain meadows. Wrap yourself in warm blankets and listen to the jingling bells as the sleigh glides smoothly through the crisp mountain air. The surrounding landscape looks like a winter fairytale — pine forests dusted with snow, frozen valleys, and the vast panorama of the Tatras glowing under the setting sun. If there’s not enough snow, don’t worry – the ride continues on comfortable carriages with wheels, so the fun never stops!

After the sleigh ride, you’ll head to a cozy heated wooden hut (regional “szałas”), where the real highlander feast begins! Here, you’ll be welcomed with the sounds of live Highlander music, performed by local musicians in traditional costumes. Feel the rhythm, join the laughter, and experience the warm and vibrant atmosphere of Podhale culture.

During the feast, enjoy an unlimited buffet of local delicacies, including:
• Traditional bigos (sauerkraut stew with meat),
• Sausage for roasting over the open fire,
• Bread with homemade lard,
• Mulled wine and highlander tea with local alcohol (children receive tea with raspberry syrup and lemon),
• Plus a variety of side dishes such as bread, mustard, and ketchup.

As you eat, drink, and celebrate, the highlander band will keep the mood alive with energetic songs, dances, and jokes. You’ll have the chance to sing along, take photos with the musicians, or simply relax by the fire, soaking in the authentic mountain atmosphere.

Once the feast comes to an end, it’s time to say goodbye to your hosts. You’ll board the bus again for a comfortable return transfer back to your original pickup point.
