Start your journey at the "Czorsztyn-Ski" resort on Mount Wdżar. This mountain is a geological curiosity—a dormant volcano with magnetic anomalies. Ride the Alpine Coaster, a mountain sled on rails. With a 1000-meter track and plenty of curves, it’s a thrilling experience. Because you control the brakes, you can go full speed or slow down to enjoy the panoramic view of the lake and the Tatra peaks in the distance.
Next, head to the village of Czorsztyn to visit the ruins of its Medieval Castle. Perched high on a rocky cliff within the Pieniny National Park, these ruins once served as a royal fortress protecting the trade route to Hungary. Walk through the gatehouses, the renovated basements, and climb the tower for a breathtaking view of Niedzica Castle across the water and the entire Czorsztyn Reservoir. It is widely considered one of the most romantic and photogenic spots in Poland.
