There is exactly one thermal complex in Zakopane you can walk to.

Every other thermal bath in the region — Chochołów, Terma Bania, Bukovina — requires a car or a bus ride of 20 to 40 minutes each way. Termy Zakopiańskie sits at ul. Jagiellońska 31, five minutes on foot from the main bus and train station, ten minutes from Krupówki. If you are already in Zakopane, this is the thermal complex that simply makes sense.

But location is only part of it.

THE POOLS
The complex features two outdoor thermal pools with views of the Tatra Mountains — open year-round, whatever the weather — alongside an indoor recreational pool with swimming lanes, a larger pool with water attractions, and a wild river. Water temperature in the thermal pools holds at 30–32°C, with natural mineral water rich in calcium, sodium, magnesium, potassium, silicon, and sulphur drawn from underground sources beneath the Tatra foothills.

Water attractions include cascades, geysers, counter-current channels, wall and floor massage jets, underwater loungers, and jacuzzis — enough variety for a full afternoon without repeating yourself.

FOR FAMILIES
The complex includes a dedicated children's pool, a water playground for smaller kids, and five water slides ranging from a 166-metre green tube to shorter, gentler options for younger visitors. A children's playroom is available on site.

SAUNA ZONE (18+)
The saunarium complex includes a Finnish sauna, bio sauna, steam bath, salt sauna, winter cabin, cooling basin, graduation tower, and a relaxation room. The sauna zone is textile-free and accessible to adults only.

ALSO ON SITE
A bowling centre, gym and fitness centre, restaurant, and café mean there is no reason to rush. The complex is open daily until 10:00 PM, with the sauna zone open from 12:00 PM.
