Begin with pickup from your lodging in the Santo Domingo region (or nearby lodging areas including Boca Chica, Juan Dolio, La Romana, or Bayahibe). After being collected, hop aboard a high-performance dune buggy (single- or two-seater, depending on availability) and head toward wild, sandy expanses and tropical scenery.
Navigate dramatic sand dunes, rugged terrain, and winding paths, with occasional stops for photos and to soak in views of the river and seashore. Tackle steeper dunes for some adrenaline. Pause on the dunes to snap shots of the scenery or just relax for a bit.
