Rwanda 3 Day Gorilla & Chimpanzee Trekking tour

This 3-day tour will take you to Volcanoes National Park for Mountain Gorilla Trekking, enjoying nature of the park Later transfer to Nyungwe National Park for Chimpanzee Trek and other Experiences.
Day 1: Kigali to Volcanoes National Park, Gorilla Trekking and Return to Kigali

Your tour begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel/Airport in Kigali at 4:30am, followed by a scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park, nestled in the misty Virunga Mountains. Upon arrival at the park Office at 7:00am, you will receive briefing by the Park's guide before setting off on an exhilarating trek through lush rainforest and bamboo-covered slopes in search of the endangered mountain gorillas. Trekking takes about 2-6 hours depending on Gorilla's movement. Once located, enjoy a rare and intimate one-hour encounter with a gorilla family an unforgettable wildlife experience and the highlight of any African safari. After the trek, Have Lunch and return to Kigali at your Hotel.

Day 2: Transfer from Kigali to Nyungwe National Park via King’s Palace Museum

After breakfast at 6:00am, take the drive to Nyungwe National Park, one of Africa’s oldest and most biodiverse rainforests. En route, enjoy a cultural stop at the King's Palace Museum, where you will explore Rwanda’s rich royal heritage and traditional architecture.
Continue through scenic landscapes dotted with tea plantations and panoramic hillsides, arriving in Nyungwe in the evening. Check in at your lodge, Have Dinner and Overnight Stay.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking and Return to Kigali

Begin your day with an early morning briefing before venturing into the dense rainforest of Nyungwe Forest National Park for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience. Follow expert guides as you track these energetic primates, witnessing their playful behavior and hearing their calls echo through the forest canopy.
After this thrilling encounter, return to the lodge for breakfast before embarking on your scenic drive back to Kigali, bringing your remarkable 3-day primate adventure to a memorable close.
