Today we depart on Makkah ziarah tour. We will start our day with the visit Jabal Al Rahmah or the Mount of Mercy. Mount Arafat is a hill in the valley of Arafat outside Makkah where Prophet (SAW) gave his last sermon after completing Hajj. It is mandatory for pilgrims to leave Mina and reach Mount Arafat on 9th Dhu’al Hijjah and spend the day praying, doing Dhik’r and asking for forgiveness from Allah (SWT). Next we pass by Mina. Mina has the capacity to hold up to 3 million people and is also the largest tented city in the world. Pilgrims coming to perform Hajj have to camp at Mina for multiple nights. During the Hajj season, the city is crowded with pilgrims and remains deserted the rest of the year. The valley of Mina is also the place where Prophet Ibrahim was ordered to sacrifice his son Ismael in a dream by Allah. We head towards Jabal Al Nour. Also known as, Mount Hira (Jabal Hira), which lies about two miles from the Ka’bah. Near the top is a small cave, a little less than 4 meters in length and a little more than one and a half meters in width. It was here that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) received the first revelations of the Holy Quran during the month of Ramadhan in 610 CE. The mountain is also known as the Mountain of Light.
Enjoy a short but meaningful journey through Makkah’s most iconic landmarks. Begin the historic Cave of Hira, then continue to Jabal Arafat, a key site of Hajj rituals. Pass through Mina and the Jamarat area, followed by a quick stop at Muzdalifah. Explore the city’s heritage with visits to Masjid Al-Jinn, Masjid Al-Fath, and Masjid Al-Khaif, each rich in history. Next, see Jabal Al-Thawr, where the Prophet sought refuge, and conclude with a brief visit to the old cemeteries before returning to your hotel.
