In just seven minutes, you will soar from the valley to an altitude of 2,348 meters and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of the UNESCO Entlebuch Biosphere. At the top, an impressive panorama opens up before you: 693 Alpine peaks, the turquoise Lake Brienz, and the unique natural landscape of the UNESCO biosphere are at your feet.
The excursion begins at the valley station in Sörenberg. After boarding the aerial cable car, you will enjoy a quiet and comfortable ascent, while the panorama becomes more spectacular with every meter. At the top, numerous options await you: stroll along the well-marked hiking trails, observe the diverse Alpine flora and fauna, or relax on the sun terrace of the summit restaurant. There you can enjoy regional specialties.
Tip: Explore the summit or the picturesque Eisee, the mountain jewel of the region. The lake can be reached both by chairlift and on foot via the hiking trail (1-hour walk on the hiking trail).
The return trip to the valley is flexible within the opening times. Your excursion ends back at the valley station in Sörenberg – perfect for ending the day in Sörenberg and exploring the Entlebuch region further.
