Your journey begins in Hainburg an der Donau, where castle ruins and medieval town walls rise above the Danube.
Continue to the iconic Devin Castle, set high on the cliffs at the meeting point of two rivers. Walk through the ruins and take in sweeping cross-border views.
In Pezinok, discover a historic wine town with its own castle complex and enjoy time to relax on the charming main square.
The route then leads to Červený Kameň Castle, an impressive fortress surrounded by forested hills, known for its massive fortifications and noble history.
