We'll start the free sightseeing tour of Bilbao in front of one of the city's most notable buildings: the Teatro Arriaga. Did you know that it's dedicated to the Bilbao-born composer, known as the 'Spanish Mozart'?

We'll stroll through the Jardines del Arenal, the entrance to Bilbao's Casco Viejo, a lively urban park full of surprises such as the Kiosko de Música, a meeting place for locals. From this point, we'll look out over the Ria del Nervión, the city's main artery.

Shall we continue? Awaiting us are the Iglesia San Nicolas, the Palacio de Yohn and Plaza Nueva, a square famous for its 'pintxos' bars. History is important, but even more so are the anecdotes and curiosities that brought life to its streets and townspeople, some as illustrious as Miguel de Unamuno or Amadeo de Saboya. Did you know that Amadeo was the star of one of the most unforgettable "bilbainadas"?

We know that you're interested in cuisine, so we've prepared a little something for you and during the visit we'll recommend traditional and modern places where you can enjoy the best pintxos and other typical dishes.

We'll stroll through the Bilbao of the "seven streets" that is home to centuries-old shops, vestiges of its port past, fragments of the old city walls, and landmarks such as the Cathedral of Santiago, a mandatory stop on the northern route of the Camino. Although in Bilbao we have two cathedrals… Do you know which one is the other?

A must-stop on our sightseeing tour is the Ribera Market, a fantastic place to continue discovering Bilbao's cuisine.

We'll let ourselves be carried along by the course of the estuary, so closely linked to the history of the city, which will give us the opportunity to end the visit by talking about interesting facts and giving many recommendations for continuing to enjoy the essentials of Bilbao.
