You will visit the city's main monuments, learn about its history and culture, and discover what these places were like in the past thanks to our collection of historical photographs.
Discover the history, legends, and the most authentic essence of Cadiz on an unforgettable tour of its most iconic spots. We'll start next to the City Hall and then enter the historic Barrio del Pópulo, the oldest district in the city, where we'll learn about Cádiz's medieval past and its old gates. We'll continue to the majestic Plaza de la Catedral, discovering the evolution of the city through stories, interesting facts, and historical photographs that will allow us to travel back in time and compare the old Cádiz with the present-day city.
The sightseeing tour will continue through the traditional Barrio de la Viña, the birthplace of the Cádiz carnival, until reaching the iconic Playa de la Caleta, one of the city's most representative landscapes. We'll also see the impressive Gran Teatro Falla, the elegant Plaza de San Antonio, the historic Oratorio de San Felipe Neri — key to the 1812 Constitution — and the famous Torre Tavira, a former watchtower for merchants and sailors.
Throughout the experience, you'll learn about the history, anecdotes, and transformations of each monument while looking at carefully selected historical images that will make the tour much more visual and exciting.
