Descripción

Wild Valleys Morning Tour Escape the crowds on a half-day minibus tour through two of Switzerland's wildest valleys near Interlaken. See turquoise lakes, thundering waterfalls and a giant dam.
On our morning tour, we take you away from the tourist crowds to explore two of Switzerland’s wildest valleys. We begin with a drive along turquoise Lake Brienz, where glaciers create a unique, vibrant water color. Passing through tiny villages filled with traditional Swiss chalets, our first stop is a beautiful beach with stunning lake views.
Next, we drive into the Urbachtal, a hidden gem accessible only with special permission. Located at 880 meters above sea level, this valley is so wild that it is uninhabitable in winter due to massive avalanches. If you think Lauterbrunnen is impressive, the untouched cliffs and peaceful pastures of Urbachtal will amaze you. Here, you will find far more cows than humans.
Leaving the valley, we ascend the dramatic Grimselpass, where the landscape changes to striking granite rock formations carved by ancient glaciers. The Grimsel area is famous for its massive hydroelectric power system, featuring five artificial lakes and dams. You will even get to walk and drive right on top of two of these dams! At the summit, the crystal-clear, dark blue pass lake awaits. Because of heavy winter snowfall, this famous panoramic road is open only five months a year. Grimselpass is where the Swiss locals go sightseeing and hiking!
On our way back, we walk through the spectacular Aare Gorge, a deep canyon with a well-maintained path that offers a refreshing breeze even on hot summer days.
Our final stop before returning to Interlaken is the majestic Giessbach waterfalls, where you can walk directly behind the rushing water. Here, you have a choice: end your tour to enjoy lunch and a scenic boat cruise back to Interlaken, or stay in the van with us. Either way, you will return around 1 p.m. with unforgettable memories and pictures.
