Explore Taipei's iconic highlights on a private shore excursion from Keelung Port. Visit the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, Longshan Temple, Dihua Street, and Taipei 101.
Meet your driver at the cruise terminal exit of Keelung Port. Look for a sign with your name and "YOLO Taiwan" as you disembark. Enjoy a seamless start perfectly timed with your ship's arrival.
Begin your tour with a visit to Dihua Street, Taipei's oldest and most historically preserved commercial street. Explore the city's most popular traditional market for Chinese medicinal herbs, fabrics, and specialized dried goods, offering a fascinating glimpse into early Taipei life.
Next, head to Longshan Temple, one of Taiwan’s oldest and most significant places of worship. Admire the stunning Qing Dynasty architecture with its ornate dragon pillars, and feel the serene yet vibrant atmosphere where locals pray, offering a profound insight into Taipei’s spiritual heritage.
Continue to the National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, a magnificent national monument, landmark, and major attraction erected in memory of Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek, the former President of the Republic of China. Marvel at the grand blue-and-white architecture and the vast Liberty Square.
Finally, admire the engineering marvel of Taipei 101 from the vibrant surrounding Xinyi district or nearby spots like the historic 44 South Village. Depending on the weather and your preference, you can also choose to ascend to the 89th-floor observatory at your own expense to enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view of the entire Taipei basin.
After an unforgettable day exploring the best of Taipei, your personal driver-guide will drive you smoothly and safely back to the Keelung Port cruise terminal, ensuring you return well ahead of your ship’s departure time.
