Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
Get picked up from your hotel in Arusha in the morning and begin the scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park. After completing the park-entry formalities, enjoy a game drive through the forest, open grasslands, and areas surrounding the lake.
Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, monkeys, hippos, antelopes, and different bird species. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park. In the afternoon, continue exploring before driving to your lodge or campsite near Lake Manyara or Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park to Arusha
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s best destinations for elephant viewing. Enjoy a full game drive through landscapes filled with baobab trees, acacia woodlands, and the Tarangire River.
You may encounter lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, warthogs, and many bird species. After a picnic lunch and further wildlife viewing, leave the park in the afternoon and drive back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or agreed location.
