5 Days Kilimanjaro Climb via Marangu Route

Trek the scenic 5-day Marangu Route through rainforest, moorland and alpine desert, then reach Uhuru Peak at 5,895m.
Begin your Mount Kilimanjaro adventure with a transfer to Marangu Gate, where you complete registration before starting your trek through the lush rainforest to Mandara Hut. Along the way, enjoy the peaceful forest, beautiful vegetation, and views of the surrounding landscape.
Continue from Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut, leaving the rainforest behind as the scenery changes to open moorland with unique high-altitude plants and impressive views of Kibo Peak. The trail continues upward toward Kibo Hut, crossing the alpine desert and preparing you for the summit attempt.
Start the summit climb around midnight from Kibo Hut and ascend through challenging high-altitude terrain toward Gilman’s Point and the crater rim. Continue to Uhuru Peak at 5,895 meters, the highest point in Africa, where you can enjoy breathtaking views and celebrate your achievement before beginning the descent to Horombo Hut.
On the final day, descend through the moorland and rainforest to Marangu Gate. After completing the exit procedures, meet your vehicle and transfer back to Moshi, marking the end of your Kilimanjaro trekking adventure.
