Day 1: Mountain Oases, Chott El Jerid, and Desert Camp

Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Tozeur. Head to the stunning mountain oasis of Chebika, nestled between dramatic cliffs and palm groves near the Algerian border. Walk through the remains of the old village, discover natural springs flowing through the mountains, and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views overlooking the desert plains below.

Continue to Tamerza, the largest mountain oasis in Tunisia. Explore its impressive waterfalls, ancient abandoned village, and spectacular rocky landscapes shaped by centuries of erosion. The contrast between desert, mountains, and lush vegetation creates some of the most beautiful scenery in Tunisia.

Discover Midès, famous for its dramatic canyons and breathtaking viewpoints. This remote oasis offers stunning landscapes that have attracted filmmakers and photographers from around the world. Enjoy lunch in the region before continuing your journey deeper into southern Tunisia.

Visit the natural hot spring of Souk Lahad, a refreshing oasis known for its warm mineral-rich waters and traditional atmosphere. Cross the legendary Chott El Jerid, the largest salt lake in Tunisia. This immense white landscape is famous for its mirages, reflections, and surreal scenery. A photo stop will allow you to capture one of the country's most iconic natural wonders.

Travel through Kebili and continue toward the Sahara until reaching Camp Dunes Insolites, located on the edge of the Grand Erg Oriental. Upon arrival, enjoy a traditional welcome with mint tea, check in to your private desert tent, and relax.

As the temperature begins to cool, receive your own camel for an unforgettable ride into the dunes. Follow ancient desert paths as the golden light of sunset transforms the landscape around you. Reach the dunes and enjoy the final moments of daylight while surrounded by the silence and beauty of the Sahara.

Return to the camp where an authentic Saharan evening awaits. Enjoy traditional folklore entertainment, an equestrian performance, a demonstration of traditional sand bread preparation (Mella), and an authentic dinner served under a traditional tent. Gather around the campfire beneath a sky filled with stars before heading to your desert tent for the night.

Day 2: Douz and Return to Tozeur

Wake up to the peaceful atmosphere of the Sahara and enjoy breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, depart toward Douz, known as the "Gateway to the Sahara." Enjoy a short visit of this famous desert town, renowned for its palm groves, desert traditions, and connection to nomadic culture. After the visit, return comfortably to Tozeur, arriving before midday.
