Depart early in the morning from your hotel in Djerba for a full immersion in the heart of southern Tunisia and the Sahara. After pickup, cross the famous Roman roadway that connects the island to the mainland before reaching the Tataouine region, known for its desert landscapes and Berber heritage.
Your first stop will be a traditional southern Tunisian ksar like Ksar Hadada, famous for its Saharan architecture and its old storage cells once used by Berber tribes.
After a typical Tunisian lunch in Ksar Ghilane, enjoy some free time in the oasis. Relax in the natural hot spring, admire the golden sand dunes, or explore the surrounding desert.
