Szentendre is a small baroque city in a beautiful natural setting. Within a 30-50-minute drive from Budapest, you will reach this picturesque artist’s village, which is also called the "southern gate of the Danube bend". 
First we drive up to the top of the hill to enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the Danube valley.
Visegrad, in the vicinity of Budapest, is famous for the remains of the Renaissance summer residence of King Matthias. Hear about the history of the Visegrad Castle during a short your walking tour from our professional guide!
Then upon arrival to Szentendre city just admire the main attractions of the famous artist village, which was built on medieval ruins.
During your guided walk you will get to know the major sights of the city and enjoy a beautiful panoramic view from the hill in the center. Following your half-day private tour, you will enjoy a delicious lunch with a wine tasting at a lovely tasting bar where you will learn about Hungarian wine from an expert sommelier.

Whilst there you can taste five delicious samples of Hungarian wine, sourced directly from the producers. You will learn about each wine as you enjoy your lunch, and can hear about Hungarian wine making culture and the characteristics of wines from different regions. Afterwards, you will have some free time to enjoy some shopping, and can also visit one of the many museums and galleries of this charming little town.
