With a professional instructor, you’ll embark on one of the canyon’s celebrated routes—either The Whale’s Tail or The Bomb—selected by your guide based on conditions and group ability. Each session is designed to ensure a rewarding and safe adventure for both beginners and seasoned climbers.

Begin your adventure at Denver Mountain Guiding, where you’ll meet your instructor and receive a safety briefing along with all necessary climbing equipment. After a short walk to the climbing area, set out on your assigned route. The Whale’s Tail offers approachable slab climbs with a range of difficulties, perfect for building confidence and technique. Alternatively, The Bomb features classic crack and chimney climbing, ideal for those seeking a multi-pitch challenge and the unique sensation of stemming high above the canyon floor.

Throughout the experience, your instructor will provide hands-on guidance, focusing on safety, climbing skills, and enjoyment. The session concludes with a guided rappel and a return walk to the meeting point, leaving you with new skills and memorable views of Eldorado Canyon’s dramatic landscape.
