Fold your way through three dumpling traditions in this hands-on Denver cooking class. This interactive experience with Chef Kevin teaches you how to craft dumplings from scratch across Japanese, Chinese and Eastern European styles. You’ll begin by preparing fillings, working with ingredients like napa cabbage, garlic, ginger, soy sauce and ground protein or vegetables. Next, learn how to fold and shape three types of dumplings: Japanese gyoza, Chinese-style dumplings and classic pierogi. Chef Kevin will guide you through techniques for sealing and shaping so each dumpling cooks evenly and holds its filling. Fillings may vary slightly depending on seasonal ingredients and dietary needs, adding flexibility to each session. Finish by cooking your dumplings and enjoying the dishes you’ve made while building skills you can recreate at home.
