This is an interactive experience with time to slow down and get to know the herd. Your guide will introduce you to characters such as Alan, Bennie, and Pablo Picasso, share what makes each one distinct, and help you notice the behaviors unfolding around you. Every visit is a little different because the animals have personalities and make their own choices.

There’s no hiking required. The experience is suited to friends, couples, families, and visitors looking for something memorable to do near Red Rocks. Come ready to laugh, learn, take photos, and leave with a favorite member of the herd.

1. We’re meeting at the Upper North lot of Red Rocks, inside Entrance 1 to Red Rocks Amphitheatre. 2. Head up Alameda Pkwy for about a 1/4 mile on a winding road. 3. Drive through the rock tunnel and immediately take a left. 4. You’ll enter a large paved parking lot. As you do, there’s a restroom and maintenance building on your right. 5. Our meeting spot is right by the sign above the restroom that reads “sinks and toilets.” The restroom is open if needed. **We recommend that small children stay in the vehicle, as you’ll need to follow in your car about half a mile from there.
