The Nature & Local Life Tour lets you explore Santiago in a totally original way. We'll start by crossing the interior of the island to Assomada, where you'll have the chance to observe the city's hustle and bustle and the local atmosphere. We'll then head to the Serra Malagueta Natural Park, where we'll make a photo stop and take a short walk to enjoy the vegetation and mountainous scenery.

The route continues with one of the highlights of this tour: a small experience of local life in a rural community in the northern region. Here, you can meet locals, observe the typical way of life, learn about agricultural traditions and, whenever possible, taste simple local products – such as homemade grog, island coffee or seasonal fruit. It's a rare and authentic opportunity to get to know Santiago beyond the tourist spots.

Next, we'll arrive at the tranquil Tarrafal Beach, where you'll have time to relax, walk on the sand, or swim in the calm waters of this mountain-protected cove. On the way back, we'll travel along the east coast, stopping at Calheta de São Miguel and Pedra Badejo for more stunning views and photos.
