Arrive at Avebury Henge at 10:00 AM, a lesser-known but equally impressive prehistoric site. Unlike crowded Stonehenge, Avebury’s massive stone circles are integrated into a charming village, offering an intimate and immersive experience. You’ll have one full hour (10:00–11:00 AM) to explore the largest stone circle in Europe, walk among the ancient standing stones, and ponder their 5,000-year-old mysteries before regrouping at 11:00 AM to continue to Bath.
Next, we travel to the historic city of Bath, arriving around 12:00 PM. Enjoy a 40-minute lunch break (12:00–12:40 PM) to sample local cuisine or grab a quick bite in the city center. At 12:45 PM, meet your guide for a 1-hour walking tour that winds through Bath’s cobblestone streets, sharing stories of the city’s rich history and leading you directly to the iconic Roman Baths.
At 2:00 PM, enter the well-preserved Roman Baths complex with your included admission ticket. Spend one hour (14:00–15:00) exploring the ancient thermal springs, sacred pool, and Roman ruins, and discover the site’s role as a major religious and social hub 2,000 years ago. Your visit also includes access to the stunning Bath Abbey, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. We gather at the Roman Baths entrance at 15:10 PM, then depart at 15:20 PM for our final stop.
Arrive at the Royal Crescent at 15:35 PM, Bath’s most famous Georgian landmark. You’ll have 40 minutes (15:35–16:15 PM) to admire the sweeping crescent of honey-colored stone houses, stroll the surrounding parkland, and take photos of this architectural gem before meeting at 16:20 PM to begin our return journey to London.
We arrive back in central London at approximately 19:00 PM, dropping you off at Gloucester Road Station, where you can easily connect to onward transport.
